As school is officially and forever winding down for me, I have mixed feelings.  I’m finding it awfully bittersweet that I have to leave the home I have built for myself for the last four years.  This is where I did some real growing up, as opposed to my real hometown.  I can count my close friends here on one hand and I like that.  I know my favorite restaurants here and my messy room is somewhat endearing.
The saving grace to all this bittersweet emotion? Martha’s f-ing Vineyard. My home away from home.  Every time I think of this little island I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside.  When you first hear me say this sweet little vacation spot, you may think I am a rich, stuck up, yachty.  Think again! I don’t stay in a huge mansion on the water or shop all day.  I sleep on my best friend’s parents couch and eat dinner with them at night.  I work my buns off in sky scraper heels and praise my days off so I can get to South Beach and sip cold Coors.  I have a lot of good friends there and it really feels like a home to me.  Heres what I really can’t wait for:
1. Aforementioned beers…
2. Jimmy Seas pound of pasta in a skillet
3. Tara’s Mom and Pop
4. Eden runnin’ free and wave surfin’
5. Old friends
6. Sharky’s everything
7. Taste of the Vineyard…which I have bought my coveted ticket for
8. Freedom from things that have held me down here

…Lets just be there now…

If you’re going through hell…keep going.

Eden had an amazing first day at camp.  She is already changing and learned so much. The trainer loved her and said she was a great dog.  She got new clothes after that and is showing them off!

More fun dying fabric…

Sarah and I are taking a class that would be really fun if we werent seniors.  We had to come up with a bunch of inventions so thats what the first two photos are.  Then we had to come up with a solution….money and magic.  Lastly, we had to illustrate a children’s book to any song in the whole world.  Sarah chose Dick in a Box.

Fancy fabric dying process.
